Watercycle Mountain, 2001
Made for Questacon, The National Science and Technology Centre, ACT, in 2001.
The mountain is modelled out of paper mache on a metal and wire form, and covered with latex to make it waterproof. A container of heated water sits in the base to make a lake for water to evaporate out of, and drain into.
