Pictures: Mango

Commissioned by The Fool Factory in 2003, this giant mango is a second character to a huge flying fox to be built in 2004 as part of the 'Extender' show that Mark Johnson's is developing with funding from artsACT.

Made out of sheet foam shaped over a light aluminiumframework, the mighty mango is about 1.2 metres in height (minus legs!). It is covered in fabric.
