I had intended having a swim, but there wasn&#8217;t really time. A paddle followed by banking up the hot stones around my legs felt like very good therapy for tired muscles!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/spiritsdancing.com\/travels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3717.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-243\" alt=\"IMG_3717\" src=\"http:\/\/spiritsdancing.com\/travels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3717-768x1024.jpg\" width=\"625\" height=\"833\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Neptune, the little boat that took us to Sougia, the next little place along the coast to the west, where the bus was waiting.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/spiritsdancing.com\/travels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3722.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-246\" alt=\"IMG_3722\" src=\"http:\/\/spiritsdancing.com\/travels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3722-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"625\" height=\"468\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Can you believe the colour of the sea?! Beautiful! Cyclops&#8217;s cave was said to be around here, perhaps it was one of those?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/spiritsdancing.com\/travels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3724.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-248\" alt=\"IMG_3724\" src=\"http:\/\/spiritsdancing.com\/travels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3724-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"625\" height=\"468\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Or one of these? To get an idea of the scale of the landscape, if you look closely, there are two specks in the middle of the photo that are people.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/spiritsdancing.com\/travels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3734.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-249\" alt=\"IMG_3734\" src=\"http:\/\/spiritsdancing.com\/travels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3734-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"625\" height=\"468\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The mountain countryside on the way back to Xania was green and often farmed.
