Our beautiful new ducks!

Indian runner ducks

These are our three beautiful new Indian Runner ducks! We got them yesterday afternoon, and this morning there was a present for us – an egg! The white duck at the back and the drake (a trout colouring) are just 8 months old, and the cinnamon one with the flash on her wing is perhaps a year older.

Windmill prop in progress

I’m working on a windmill prop at the moment. I made the base structure a month or so ago, but am now back to making the blades. The windmill itself is very simple, but it’s size – it will stand 3 metres high – makes it logistically tricky to work on in my studio. It’s coming together nicely, though, and I’m enjoying it.
